"Announcing A New Active Accomodation Gas Volume Measurement Technique for
Science and Industry" 

New Gasmeter Version: MK 2019 At the request of a customer who needed to meet Class 1, Division 2 regulations that pertain to operation in a potentially dangerous environment of combustible gases, Emdyne, Inc. has redesigned the standard MK 2015 Gasmeter model. Separating the Control unit from the gas collection/measurement section was the preferred solution to meet the stringent requirements. A new enclosure for the Control section is patterned after the left portion of a standard MK 2015 chassis, reducing the face width from 28 inches down to 12.5 inches allowing more bench space for other lab equipment. This new version, the MK 2019 Gasmeter, retains the same operational specifications listed below in the MK 2015 spec list, while using the new separated configuration. The cable separating the Controller and gas collection sections may be specified by the user up to 50 feet in length (standard length being 20 feet). An aluminum plate supports the mechanical assembly of valves, manifold and motor/cylinder mechanism. Users may mount this assembly within a custom inert gas purged enclosure or leave uncovered depending upon the application.     MODEL MK 2015

The EMDYNE MK2015 GASMETER measures the volume of gas collected to a precision of 0.1 ml and displays the accumulated total for visual observation.  In addition, it provides thermal control of the collection system for input gases that may need cold trap protection from condensation.  All related data is available via RS-232 computer interface to laboratory data logger computer.
